Antique Fireplace Tile Floral Moulded Majolica Alfred Meakin Ltd C1905

This is an extremely rare majolica tile with a three bold spade-shaped flowers design, made by Alfred Meakin Ltd around 1905.

The tile is in very good condition for its age, with small chips around the edges and surface marks.

It measures 6" x 6" (15 cm x 15 cm).

The tile comes from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection, and has the number D.717. If you want to know more about this tile you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference number, and they can offer more information about it.
