Art Nouveau Fireplace Tile Blue Floral Majolica by Alfred Meakin Ltd C1900

This is a very rare and beautiful embossed majolica tile with a unique floral design on a dark blue background, made by Alfred Meakin Ltd around 1900.

It is in very good condition for its age, with a few tiny chips around the edges and surface marks.
It has two corners trimmed for the original fitting.

The tile measures 6" x 6".
