This is a beautiful and rare tile featuring a hand-painted Landscape design showing a bridge.
This is a beautiful and rare tile featuring a hand-painted Landscape design showing the coast of a city.
The tile was made around 1760 in the Dutch city of Rotterdam and it is decorated with an 'octagon' shaped border and 'feathered' corner motifs.It has a corner trimmed and chips on the edges as well as surface marks.
It measures approximately 5" x 5" (13.2cm x 13.2cm) square.
A very rare tile to be found. It will complement any tile collection.
