This is a beautiful and rare tile featuring a hand-painted Landscape design showing a hare standing on a small island with tall grass and cargo ships in the background.
The tile dates from the 18th century and it is decorated with the 'spider' corner motif.
It has chips around the edges and surface marks.
It measures approximately 5" x 5" (12.3cm x 12.3cm) square.
A very rare tile to be found. It will complement any tile collection.
