Antique Fireplace Tile Colour Printed Floral Majolica by Pilkington C1905 AE1

This is a beautiful colour printed majolica glazed tile with an unusual floral design, made by Pilkington.
Embossed P's in opposite corners and made around 1905.
The tile is in good condition for its age, with a few tiny chips around the edges, crazing in the glaze and surface marks.

It measures 6" x 6" square.

The tile comes from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection, and has the number B.577. If you want to know more about this tile you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference number, and they can offer more information about it.
