Antique Fireplace Tile Designed By Lewis Day For Pilkington's C1900

Extremely rare to find, the tile is moulded with a superb flower design on a shiny glaze background.
Superb tile designed by the famous designer Lewis Foreman Day.
It is marked on the back with Pilkington's initial "P" in opposite corners.
Reg Number 365744 for the year 1900-01.

It will look lovely framed, as seen in the last picture(wooden frame not included in the sale).

The tile is in very good condition with a tiny chip on a corner and small nibbles around the edge, but these will be covered if framed or fitted back in the fireplace.
