The tile is part of my collection, and only one is available.
This is a superb and rare impressed majolica tile with a pine cone design, made by Gibbons Hinton & Co around 1900. It has the pattern number 1363.It is in very good condition, with tiny chips around the edge and light surface marks.
It measures 6" x 6" square.
This tile has a reference number D. 191 on the back.It comes from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection.If you want to know more about it, you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference number, and they can offer more information about the provenance and maker, together with the date Roger Hensman purchased the tile.
