Antique Fireplace Tile Floral Majolica by Pilkington C1894

This is a very beautiful embossed majolica tile with a floral design, made by Pilkington around 1894.
It has been registered for 13-02-1894 with the number 227294.
It is in very good condition for its age, with a chip on one side and other tiny chips around the edges and surface marks.

It measures 6" x 6" square.

The tile comes from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection, and has the number D.841. If you want to know more about this tile you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference number, and they can offer more information about it.
