Antique Fireplace Tile Floral Moulded Majolica Blue Glaze William Godwin C1870

This is a very beautiful majolica tile with a floral design in blue glaze, made by William Godwin around 1870.
The tile has a chip in a corner, other tiny chips around the edge and surface marks.

It measures 6" x 6" square.

The tile comes from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection, and has the number C.142. If you want to know more about this tile you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference number, and they can offer more information about it.
