Antique Fireplace Tile Floral Moulded Majolica by Pilkington C1901

This is a superb embossed majolica tile with a symmetrical pomegranates design on a blue background, made by Pilkington around 1901.
It has been registered for 1901 with the number 371050.

The tile is in very good condition, with small chips around the edges and surface marks.

It measures 6" x 6" square.

The tile comes from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection, and has the number D.430. If you want to know more about this tile you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference number, and they can offer more information about it.
