Antique Fireplace Tile Green Glaze Floral Majolica John Barratt & Co C1904
This is a beautiful embossed majolica tile with a simplistic daffodil floral design in a green and red colour combination, made by John Barratt around 1904.
It has been registered for 11-11-1904, with the registration number: 444951.
It is in good condition for its age, with tiny chips around the edges and surface marks.
It measures 6" x 6" square.
It comes in the original condition as found and sold as seen.
These types of tiles besides their value as rare collectible items, they are also viable to be used for architecture like restoration of an old fireplace, placed as an replacement for a tile from the wall, or just framed and hanged on a wall for decoration.
