This is a stunning and quite rare high relief moulded majolica tile made in A W N Pugin style featuring a Fleur De Lis design with an interesting colour palette, made by Minton Hollins & Co around 1890.
It is in good condition for its age with chips around the edges and surface marks.
It measures 6" x 6" square and 1.5cm in thickness.
It comes in the original condition as found and sold as seen.
These types of tiles besides their value as rare collectible items, they are also viable to be used for architecture like restoration of an old fireplace, placed as an replacement for a tile from the wall, or just framed and hanged on a wall for decoration.
