Antique Fireplace Tile Relief Moulded Leaf Floral Majolica John Barratt C1900
• Style: Art Nouveau• Technique: Majolica• Manufacturer: John Barratt• Dimensions: 6" x 6″• Date: C1900
The tile is part of my collection, and there is only one available.
This is a stunning and rare to find relief moulded majolica tile featuring a leaf & quartered floral design made by John Barratt around 1900.
It is in good condition for its age with small chips around the edges and surface marks.
It measures 6" x 6" square.
It comes in the original condition as found and sold as seen.
These types of tiles besides their value as rare collectible items, they are also viable to be used for architecture like restoration of an old fireplace, placed as an replacement for a tile from the wall, or just framed and hanged on a wall for decoration.
