Antique Fireplace Tile Tubelined George V Coronation Henry Richards C1911
This is a stunning and scarce tube-lined and hand-painted tile featuring a great design of the George V and Queen Mary coronation ceremony with a portrait of each of them surrounded by a border made of mackintosh flowers, made by Henry Richards in 1911.
The tile is in good condition, with chips around the edges and light surface marks.
It measures 6" x 6" square.
It comes in the original condition as found and sold as seen.
These types of tiles besides their value as rare collectible items, they are also viable to be used for architecture like restoration of an old fireplace, placed as an replacement for a tile from the wall, or just framed and hanged on a wall for decoration.
