Superb antique fireplace tile hand painted underglaze and marked on the back WB Simpson & Sons.

Marked with the lozenge-shaped registration number for the year 1881.

Lovely flower design in the style of William Morris.

This is an extremely hard-to-find tile and is in fantastic condition for its age.

The tile will be an excellent addition to any collection or can be used on any tiling project.

Measures 6" by 6".
