Art Deco Fireplace Tile Blue Majolica Geometrical Design by H & R Johnson C1970

This is a very beautiful embossed majolica with a geometrical design, made by H & R Johnson around 1970.

I was not able to find another example like this.

The tile is in very good condition, with tiny chips around the edges and surface marks.

It measures 6" x 6" square.

The tile comes from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection, and has the number C.229. If you want to know more about this tile you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference number, and they can offer more information about it.
