Art Deco Fireplace Tile High Relief Moulded Floral Majolica by Pilkington C1930

This is a beautiful high relief moulded majolica tile with a floral design in light grey glaze, made by Pilkington around 1930.
It is in very good condition for its age, with small chips around the edges and surface marks.

It measures 6" x 6" square.

The tile comes from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection, and has the number C.264. If you want to know more about this tile you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference number, and they can offer more information about it.

The tile is also part of Chris Blanchett's study collection.
