This is a stunning and quite rare embossed majolica tile with a fantastic floral design made by H & R Johnson around 1920.
It is in very good condition for its age with a few tiny chips around the edges and surface marks.
It measures 6" x 6" square.
It comes in the original condition as found and sold as seen.
These types of tiles besides their value as rare collectible items, they are also viable to be used for architecture like restoration of an old fireplace, placed as an replacement for a tile from the wall, or just framed and hanged on a wall for decoration.
