This tile is part of my collection, and there is only one available.
This is a gorgeous and very rare embossed majolica tile with a beautiful floral design, made by Mintons China Works around 1899.It has been registered for 21-02-1899, with the number: 334082.
The tile is in very good condition for its age, with tiny chips around the edges, crazing in the glaze and surface marks.
It measures 8" x 8" square.
The tile comes from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection, and has the number G.185. If you want to know more about this tile you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference number, and they can offer more information about it.
