Art Nouveau Fireplace Tile Blue Glaze Floral Majolica by Alfred Meakin C1900

This is a stunning and extremely rare embossed majolica tile with a fantastic and unique floral design on a light blue background, made by Alfred Meakin Ltd around 1900.

It was impossible for me to find another example like this one.

It is in very good condition for its age, with a two very tiny chips on one edge and surface marks.

The tile measures 6" x 6" (15cm x 15cm) square.
