Art Nouveau Fireplace Tile Brown Floral Moulded Majolica by New Birch Tile C1900

This is a very beautiful embossed majolica tile with a floral design in brown glaze, made by New Birch Tile Co around 1900.

It is in very good condition for its age, with tiny chips around the edges and surface marks.

It measures 6" x 6" square.

The tile comes from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection, and has the number C.261. If you want to know more about this tile you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference number, and they can offer more information about it.
