This is a very beautiful and rare transfer-printed and tinted tile with a very unique Anglo-Persian floral design, made by Craven Dunnill around 1900.
It was impossible for me to find another example like thisIt is in very good condition for its age, with tiny chips around the edges and surface marks.
It measures 6" x 6" square.
The tile comes from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection, and has the number B.824. If you want to know more about this tile you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference number, and they can offer more information about it.
