Art Nouveau Fireplace Tile Floral Moulded Majolica by Pilkington C1902

This is a superb embossed majolica tile with a honeysuckle flower design, made by Pilkington around 1902.
It has been registered for 19-02-1902 with the number 387352.

Possibly designed by Lewis Day or James Henry Rudd.

The tile is in very good condition, with chips around the edges, stains and surface marks.

It measures 6" x 6" square.

The tile comes from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection, and has the number D.330. If you want to know more about this tile you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference number, and they can offer more information about it.
