Art Nouveau Fireplace Tile Floral Moulded Majolica by Pilkington C1903
This is a very beautiful embossed majolica tile. The outer stems form an arch around the design of leaves, buds, and flowers. The tile is symmetrical about the vertical axis and is part of a panel made by Pilkington around 1903.
The tile is registered for 21-11-1903 with the number 421939.
It is in very good condition for its age, with some tiny chips around the edge, stains and surface marks.
It will look fantastic framed or fitted in a washstand or fireplace.
It measures 6" x 6" square.
