Art Nouveau Fireplace Tile Floral Moulded Majolica By T A Simpson C1900

This is a very beautiful and rare moulded majolica tile in a unique floral design on a white background, made by T A Simpson around 1900.

The tile is in good condition for its age, with tiny chips around the edges, crazing in the glaze and surface marks.

It measures 6" x 6" square.

The tile comes from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection, and has the number D.332. If you want to know more about this tile you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference number, and they can offer more information about it.
