Antique art nouveau tile in a superb Japonaiserie pattern of fans and lotus blossom, made by The Decorative Art Tile Co. around 1903.
It has been registered for 27-05-1903, with the number 410774.
An example of this tile can be seen in the Chris Blanchett book 20th C Decorative British Tiles on page 162.
In excellent condition for age, with crazing in the glaze, surface marks and tiny chips on the edges.
It measures 6" x 6" square.
