Art Nouveau Fireplace Tile High Relief Green Floral Majolica T. A. Simpson C1900

This is a very beautiful and rare moulded majolica tile in a unique leaves design in green glaze, made by T A Simpson around 1900.

The tile is in near-perfect condition, but has a large chip in a corner and light surface marks.

It measures 6" x 6" square.

The tile comes from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection, and has the number C.44. If you want to know more about this tile you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference number, and they can offer more information about it.
