Art Nouveau Fireplace Tile High Relief Moulded Majolica by T & R Boote Ltd C1900

This is a very beautiful and rare high relief majolica tile with a unique floral design not seen often, made by T & R Boote Ltd around 1900.

It was impossible for me to find another example like this one.

The tile is in very good condition, with just a few chips around the edges and light surface marks.

It measures 6" x 6" square.

The tile comes from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection, and has the number D.836. If you want to know more about this tile you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference number, and they can offer more information about it.
