Art Nouveau Fireplace Tile Majolica Green Floral Design by Henry Richards C1906

This is a very beautiful embossed majolica tile with a floral design on a green background colour, made by Henry Richards around 1906.
It has been registered for 07-02-1906, with the number: 47360.

The tile is in near-perfect condition for its age, with a few tiny chips around the edges and surface marks.

It measures 6" x 6" square.

The tile comes from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection, and has the number D.838. If you want to know more about this tile you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference number, and they can offer more information about it.
