The tile is part of my collection, and there is only one available.
This is a beautiful moulded majolica tile with a jewel garland design on a cream background, made by H & R Johnson around 1908.The tile has the registration number 530957 which dates back to 01/10/1908.
It is in good condition for its age with surface marks like scratches and crazing in the glaze with few tiny chips on the edges.
It measures 6" x 6" square.
It comes in the original condition as found and sold as seen.
These types of tiles besides their value as rare collectible items, they are also viable to be used for architecture like restoration of an old fireplace, placed as an replacement for a tile from the wall, or just framed and hanged on a wall for decoration.
