Art Nouveau Fireplace Tile Quartered Floral Majolica by Mintons China Work C1890

This is a superb embossed majolica tile with a quartered floral design, made by Mintons China Works around 1890.

The tile is in very good condition for its age, with small chips around the edges and surface marks.

It measures 6" x 6" square.

The tile comes from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection, and has the number D.129. If you want to know more about this tile you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference number, and they can offer more information about it.
