The tile is part of my collection, and only one is available.
Antique art nouveau tile in a superb Japonaiserie pattern of fans and lotus blossom.It is believed to be made by The Decorative Art Tile Co on a Rhodes Tile co-blank.
The registered number is 410774, and it dates between 1903-1904.
An example of this tile can be seen in the Chris Blanchett book 20th C Decorative British Tiles on page 162.
In excellent condition for age, with crazing in the glaze and a few nibbles around the edges also light surface scratches.
It measures 6" x 6",15cm x 15cm.
