Art Nouveau Fireplace Tile Relief Moulded Floral Majolica Elijah Birch C1890

This is a very beautiful and rare relief moulded tile with a Plumbs design in a grey glaze, made by Elijah Birch around 1890.
It is in good condition for its age, with chips around the edges and surface marks.

This tile will look nicely framed; it was impossible for me to find another one.

It measures 6" x 6" square.

The tile comes from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection, and has the number C.120. If you want to know more about this tile you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference number, and they can offer more information about it.
