The tile is part of my collection, and only one is available.
This is an exquisite and extremely rare high relief moulded majolica tile with a fish and floral design, made by S.O.F. Sachsische Ofen- und Schamottewarenfabrik vorm. in Ernst Teichert, Meissen, Germany around 1905.The decoration of Fish and waterlily in relief was made by compressing clay powder under high pressure in a mold. The fish from Otto Eckmann's woodcut (1899) were used in the design of this tile.
It is in very good condition for its age, with a few chips across the surface along with other marks.It measures 6" x 6" square.
