Art Nouveau German Silkscreen Tile by V&B Mettlach Otto Eckmann Design C1899

This is an extremely rare and beautiful silkscreen tile with a foxes design entitled "Fuchsenkopf" made by Otto Eckmann, tile manufactured by Villeroy & Boch Mettlach around 1899.
This specific design has been pictured and described in "Deutsche Kunst en Decoration volume 1900".
It is in very good condition for its age, with small chips around the edges and surface marks.

It measures 6" x 6" square.
