This is a beautiful embossed majolica tile with a floral and geometric design not seen often, made by Minton Hollins & Co around 1915.
This is an extremely rare tile, as I could not find more examples like it.
It is in excellent condition with a few chips around the edges and surface marks.
It measures 6" x 6" square.
The tile comes from Chris Blanchett's study collection and can be found in his book 20 Century British Decorative Tiles on page 380.
