Arts & Crafts 8" Black Hand Painted Minton Tile Christopher Dresser Style C1873
This is an extremely beautiful and rare hand-painted tile with a floral butterfly and bird design, made by Mintons China Works in the Christopher Dresser style.
This type of tile has been used for the design of Antoni Gaudi's work, "El Capricho de Antoni Gaudi," on the walls in the dining room.
The tile is in very good condition for its age, with chips around the edges and surface marks.
It measures 8" x 8" and 1.3cm in thickness.
