Arts & Crafts 8" Tile Blue & White Block Printed by Minton Hollins & Co C1886 AE1

This is an exquisite block-printed tile named "War", depicting a centurion sitting in a floral design, made by Minton Hollins & Co. around 1886.
This is an extremely rare tile not seen often.
It has been registered for 29-03-1886, with the number: 46121.
It is in very good condition for its age, with small chips around the edges and surface marks.

It measures 8" x 8" square.

The tile comes from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection, and has the number G.118. If you want to know more about this tile you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference number, and they can offer more information about it.
