Arts & Crafts 8" Tile Hand Painted Geometric Mosaic Design by Copeland C1880

This is an extremely rare hand-painted tile with a geometric mosaic design, made by Copeland around 1880
The tile is in very good condition for its age, with discolouration, surface marks and a few tiny chips around the edges.

It measures 8" x 8".

The tile comes from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection, and has the number G.168. If you want to know more about this tile you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference number, and they can offer more information about it.
