Arts & Crafts Fireplace Japonesque Transfer-Printed Tile C1880

This is a gorgeous and rare transfer-printed tile with a Japanese design. I cannot find its maker, but it was made around 1880.

It is in good condition for its age, with light surface marks and a few tiny chips on an edge, but it has all the corners trimmed for its original fitting.

It measures 6" x 6" (15.3cm x 15.3cm) square.
