Arts & Crafts Fireplace Minton Tile Animals Series by W P Simpson C1885

This is a beautiful transfer-printed tile depicting two dogs with a dead hare.
Designed by W P Simpson for Minton Hollins & Co around 1880.
The tile comes from the "Animals" series.

It measures 6" x 6" square.

The tile is in good condition for its age with some tiny chips around the edges and surface marks.
