The tile is part of my collection, and there are two available.
This is a really beautiful brown block printed tile depicting a scene from the Bible titled "Elijah Fed by the Ravens", the tile comes from the series of 12 tiles "Biblical Scenes" also known as "Scriptural" by Minton Hollins & Co circa 1875, but the designer is unknown.It is in very good condition for its age, with small chips around the edges and surface marks.
It measures 6" x 6" square.
The tile comes from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection, and has the number A.463. If you want to know more about this tile you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference number, and they can offer more information about it.
