Arts & Crafts Tile Clumber Spaniel Minton Hollins & Co Design WP Simpson C1885

This tile is part of a series of 20 tiles called "Animals" designed and signed by WP Simpson for Minton Hollins & Co in 1885.
This particular tile is pattern number 1693H, representing the dog Clumber Spaniel.
The tile has a few chips around the edges, surface marks, some crazing in the glaze and possibly a thin hairline on one side.

The tile is 6" x 6" (15.4cm x 15.4cm) square and 1cm thick.
