This tile is part of a series of 20 tiles designed and signed by WP Simpson for Minton Hollins & Co in 1885.
This particular tile is pattern number 1691H, representing the dog German Short Haired Pointer.

It is in very good condition for its age, with tiny chips around the edges and surface marks.

The tile is 6 x 6 inches square and 1cm thick.
