Fabulous Art Nouveau Majolica Surfing Shoreline Tile by Wedgwood C1900

Rare Most Fabulous Art Nouveau Majolica Surfing Shoreline Tile Wedgwood
The Tile Comes from Roger Hensman Tile collection.

This majolica tile from Wedgwood is truly remarkable. It features a beautiful depiction of the shoreline, shells, rolling waves, and seaweed with intricate details. Due to its subject matter and style, it could be classified as art nouveau or arts and crafts. The colours are fantastic, with rich royal blue and green hues for the seaweed and bright contrasting colours for the waves.
This tile is quite rare and sought after. I initially saw it in a book by Austwick, but seeing the actual tile exceeded my expectations.
There are some minor imperfections, like small chips and roughness on the edges, but overall, the glazes are brilliant.

It is in excellent condition for its age, with a few tiny chips on the edge and surface marks.
There is a small amount of adhesive on the sides.
