This tile is part of my collection, and there are two available.
MINTONS, AESOP'S FABLES, attributed to Thomas Allen of Mintons.The tile is from a set of 12 block printed in red(brown) over a cream background.The tile was removed from an original Victorian fireplace.This particular tile is called "The Goat Calf And The Sheep In Partnership With The Lion".
It is in very good condition, but it has a chip on the edge, light surface marks, and some crazing in the glaze.
It measures 6" x 6" square.
