German Art Nouveau Fireplace Majolica Tile Mackintosh Style by N.S. Grohn C1900

This is a rare and well-made embossed majolica tile with a very unusual colour-palette, floral Mackintosh style, made in Germany by Norddeutsche Steingutfabrik Grohn around 1900.

The tile is in good condition for its age, with tiny chips around the edges, crazing in the glaze and surface marks.

It measures 6" x 6" square (15 cm x 15 cm).
