Antique Fireplace Tile Floral Morris Style Design Gibbons Hinton & Co C1900

This is a superb and rare tile with a William Morris style design, made by Gibbons Hinton & Co around 1900.
It is in very good condition, with chips around the edges and surface marks.

It was impossible for me to find another example like this one.

It measures 6" x 6" square.

This tile has a reference number D.149 on the back.
It comes from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection.
If you want to know more about it, you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference number, and they can offer more information about the provenance and maker, together with the date Roger Hensman purchased the tile.
