Art Nouveau Fireplace Tile Green Floral Majolica by Henry Richards C1901

This is a very rare and beautiful embossed majolica tile with a triple head daffodil design on a dark blue background. Made by Henry Richards around 1901.
It has been registered for 14-11-1901, with the number 383142.

It is in good condition for its age, with tiny chips around the edges and surface marks.
It has two corners trimmed for the original fitting.

It measures 6" x 6" square.

The tile comes from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection, and has the number D.242. If you want to know more about this tile you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference number, and they can offer more information about it.
