Art Nouveau Fireplace Tile Green Floral Majolica by Henry Richards C1900

This is a very rare moulded majolica tile with a floral design in dark green colour, made by Henry Richards around 1900.

The tile is in good condition for its age, with small chips around the edges and surface marks.
It has two corners trimmed for the original fitting.

It measures 6" x 6" square.

The tile comes from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection, and has the number C.158. If you want to know more about this tile you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference number, and they can offer more information about it.
